Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Flight Operations Technical Analyst to support our Flight Operations Engineering department based in Seal Beach, California.

The Flight Operations Technical Analyst role will perform detailed analyses to support production of specific aircraft dispatch and performance data, operational documents and software. This role also encompasses a variety of documentation and publication responsibilities.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Gathers and analyzes customer requirements to produce, revise and deliver flight operations documentation in multiple media formats

  • Evaluates data for conformance to engineering specifications, regulatory requirements and customer requirements

  • Generates performance configuration quotes for sundry sales and new deliveries

  • Develops and implements continuous process improvements

  • Collaborates with other analysts and engineers to validate Flight Operations engineering data, graphical charts, and airplane performance configuration data into final documentation deliverables

  • Produces final deliverables using Adobe Illustrator, FrameMaker, and Acrobat

  • Performs detailed analyses to support production of specific aircraft dispatch and performance data, operational documents and software

  • Works under general supervision

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 1 + years of equivalent technical experience

  • 1+ years of experience using Microsoft Office products (i.e. Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Associate’s Degree or higher

  • 1+ years of experience with the FastDoc publishing system

  • 1+ years of experience with Adobe Framemaker software

  • 1+ years of experience with graphics programs such as Adobe Illustrator

  • 1+ years of experience working with airplane manuals such as Flight Crew Training Manual, Airplane Flight Manual, Flight Crew Operations Manual, Deviation Dispatch Guide including Configuration, and Quick Reference Handbook

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range: $69,300 - $84,700
