- Stress Analysis (Metallics and/or composites)
- Finite Element Modeling FEM/FEA (Nastran/Patran/Abaqus/Ansys/others)
- Fatigue & Damage Tolerance
- Catia V5 (computer aided design/drafting)
- Coding/scripting (MATLAB, Python, C++)
List of Classes Taken/Planned:
- Statics
- Mechanics of Materials
- Structural Analysis (preferred)
- Finite Element Analysis (preferred)
- Structural Design (preferred)
- Structural Test Lab (preferred)
Hobbies / Interests:
- Passion for airplanes
- Desire to understand how aircraft are designed and built to optimize performance
- Interest in structural testing with experience in Structural/Material Labs (Strength and durability testing)
- Advanced Design Projects in structures (aerospace/car racing/bridge/etc.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:- Must be enrolled as a full-time student at the time of application and actively pursuing a bachelors degree or higher.
- Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher (unrounded); must be listed on resume.
- Minimum duration: 1214 weeks (summer); 1416 weeks (spring and fall).
- Must work onsite; this is not a remote position.
- Must have reliable transportation.
