Facility Technician (HVAC Technician)

Responsible for the maintenance and repair of the facility's HVAC equipment. Conduct routine, periodic, or special inspections to determine repair and maintenance work necessary to prevent breakdowns of equipment. Use blueprints, sketches, layouts, wiring diagrams, drawings, and specifications. Utilize knowledge of applicable standards or regulations and may require specific trade certifications.

Essential Functions:

• Support HVAC requests for 3.5M SF in 75 buildings spread across 5 locations in Brevard County
• Must be able to operate a company vehicle to travel to all 5 sites in Brevard as needed
• Use tracking software to ensure components are accurately installed, tracked, etc.
• Interface with all levels of the organization to report on HVAC issues

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience; OR, 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience
• Valid driver’s License
• Prior or current experience working on HVAC systems

Preferred Additional Skills:

• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
• Experience with Microsoft Suite basic skills
• Experience working with engineering blueprints, process specifications and building layouts
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance is preferred
