Develop and plan facility events, internal moves, and facility related projects. The position assists the Regional Facility Manager in the management and over-seeing of facility matters including but not limited to employee space plans (seating) and tracking, service vendor contracts and performance (PR/PO), employee related moves, facility service requests & work orders, and construction management support (small project mgmt. support).  This position supports recycling, energy conservation efforts, cost saving initiatives and other initiatives and programs that effect the facility’s environment.  This position is for a self-starter. Knowledge of facilities and how things work in the industry practices. General infrastructure systems application and principles (understanding of HVAC, plumbing, power). Demonstrates the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks. Good critical thinking and communication skills necessary. Works under only very general supervision. Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.

EVENT MANAGEMENT

  • Supports planning, scheduling, and coordination activities
  • Receives and addresses facility service request and work orders from employees and onsite teams; maintains and tracks
  • Assists on conference room matters and set up
  • Assist and support with on-site facility projects as required

MOVE MANAGEMENT

  • Helps develop, prioritize, and plan employee furniture and/or space moves in conjunction with program requirements. Schedules, coordinates, and facilitates employee furniture and/or office space moves
  • Works with external service vendors (movers) in support of office movements
  • Ensures timely cleanup of vacated areas

             

SITE EVALUATIONS  

  • Monitors, inspects, and analyzes building and space standards for compliance to ensure a quality building environment is maintained.  Monitors, inspects, and analyzes office furniture, as required

SERVICE VENDOR RELATIONS

  • Supports, monitors and manages service vendor contracts (PRs/POs).  Creates and submits Scope of Work (SOW) for service level agreements.  Works with current vendor(s) in supporting:
  • Janitorial
  • Landscape & Grounds
  • HVAC
  • Plumbing
  • Electrical
  • Pest Control
  • Others as needed

Other Roles of Responsibility

  • Monitors and manages operations of the facility
  • Plan, develop and implement facility upgrades and improvements as required
  • Review all site work to verify compliance in accordance with applicable plans, procedures and governing codes
  • Work cost estimates and support budget requirements
  • Manage preventive maintenance schedules and reports for infrastructure equipment (Vendor coordination schedule and tracking)

Basic Qualifications for the Facilities Representative:

  • Bachelor Degree and 2 years additional facility experience or a High School Diploma or equivalent and 6 years of facility experience in lieu of degree
  • Experience with vendor coordination
  • Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government Secret Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship required

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,400.00 - $108,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
