Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Facilities Technician to support the maintenance and operational integrity of our facilities. This hands-on role involves performing a wide range of tasks, including routine maintenance, repairs, and general facility upkeep across systems such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to problem-solving, a strong commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently within a fast-paced, mission-driven environment.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks and non-technical repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.
- Conduct general upkeep of the facility including painting, patching walls, replacing ceiling/floor tiles, and carpeting.
- Inspect and maintain interior and exterior areas of the site such as walls, floors, fixtures, roofing, and lighting.
- Support janitorial and hospitality teams with tasks such as furniture moves, event setup/teardown, and waste removal.
- Assist in managing site-wide operations and maintenance programs as assigned.
- Safely operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts when necessary.
- Open, track, and resolve electronic work tickets through the internal work order system.
Basic Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role.
- Must be able to pass background checks as required by job site regulations
- Ability to lift up to 35 lbs unassisted.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform tasks involving bending, climbing ladders, grasping, pulling, pushing, stooping, and stretching.
- Comfortable working at elevated heights (up to 300 feet) and using ladders or aerial lifts.
