Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Fabrication Specialist- Emergent Operations Wire Shop to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 3rd shift.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Join our Emergent Operations (EO) Wiring Shop as a Fabricator at Boeing South Carolina — where skilled wire technicians build and maintain the electrical heart of commercial aircraft. We’re seeking an experienced, hands-on wire technician who thrives on complex harness fabrication, rework, and ownership of work under minimal supervision. If you take pride in precision wiring, troubleshooting, and driving continuous improvement, this role offers high-visibility impact and collaboration across engineering and production teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Maintain Level “C” OJT qualifications and own wiring work packages on third shift.
  • Fabricate, repair, inspect and test harnesses, terminations, splices, shielding, and related components.
  • Act as the shop liaison to ME, SCA, IE and sister shops to resolve wiring issues and prioritize work.
  • Use shop systems to report parts/status and expedite material flow.
  • Lead/participate in BPS progression and continuous improvement (5S/Lean).

Required Qualifications

  • Third shift only.
  • 3+ years wire fabrication/repair
  • 3+ years’ experience with power/hand tooling.
  • 3+ years’ experience with Microsoft office, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ year 787 operations and 787 wiring experience; experience with Velocity, REDARS, PSDS, CMES, Andon/SAT/SRIT.
  • 4+ years aircraft electrical/mechanical experience.
  • 5S/Lean/Six Sigma experience and demonstrated BPS leadership.

Summary Pay Range: $61,200-$64,500
