A manager in this role will develop cross-functional partnerships to achieve team and program goals while developing a work environment that promotes accountability, trust, teamwork, quality and safety. This role will lead a team of 10+ people.

Position Responsibilities:

·         Manages employee activities within the Equipment Services occupation including equipment maintenance planning, analysis, project administration, and equipment reliability activities.

·         Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals

·         Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements

·         Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, business partners and direct reports

·         Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

·         Participates in equipment make/buy decisions; participates in source selection and provides technical oversight of suppliers

·         Manages, develops and motivates employees

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

·         3+ years in an aerospace, fabrication or manufacturing environment

·         3+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal leadership role

·         1+ years of experience in using excellent verbal and written communications skills to communicate with leaders and colleagues

·         Willing and able to work any shift (may be selected for 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

·         Associates degree or higher

·         5+ years of experience in asset maintenance as a mechanic, technician, or millwright.

·         3+ years of experience demonstrating people management skills to include coaching, teaching, and mentoring

·         1+ years of experience leading or managing in a union represented environment

·         1+ years of experience as a self-starter and have the ability to work independently

·         1+ years of experience in conflict resolution and/or mediation

·         1+ years of experience managing team workloads (preventative, planned, and reactive service requests & activities)

·         1+ years of experience with safety regulations and quality standards

·         Ability to demonstrate competencies in conflict resolution, collaboration, process improvement, people development

·         Adaptability, change management, ability to shift priorities quickly
