Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Senior Manager to join the 737 Program EHS team, primarily located in Seattle, WA.

We are seeking an experienced senior EHS manager to join the 737 Program EHS Leadership Team. This position will support Boeing Commercial Airplane (BCA) in Seattle, WA. As the senior EHS leader, you will play a crucial role in leading the EHS management system, Serious Injury and Fatality prevention programs, including serious injury prevention, incident and injury-free mindset and culture, fall protection process, hazardous energy processes, EHS compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, and company policies and procedures. Your leadership will help to foster a culture of safety and quality, people focus, trust, ownership, and innovation.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leads the execution of BCA and company EHS strategic imperatives at the Seattle, Renton, and Moses Lake sites

  • Fosters a culture of collaboration and team cohesion amongst the factory programs and support functions

  • Leads Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) programs

  • Builds effective relationships with external stakeholders including government agencies, industry associations, environmental organizations, and internal stakeholders

  • Provides leadership, mentorship, and guidance leadership to their team as the program and EHS leadership teams

  • Provides knowledge of regulations, policies, and best practices

  • Identifies and prioritizes key EHS initiatives and drives action plans with teams

  • Maintains communication and interpersonal skills while effectively engaging with stakeholders at all levels

  • Applies lean practices to develop organization and leads effective organizational management

  • Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, objectives

  • Builds strong plans and schedules, communicate proactively, meet deliverables and commitments

  • Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes

  • Utilizes analytical, problem-solving, and data analytics to drive decision making

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 5+ years of experience leading teams in a formal and/or informal role

  • 5+ years of experience in functioning in a cross-functional environment

  • 5+ years of experience in Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Certified Safety Professional and/ Certified Industrial Hygienist

  • Experience developing employees and building organizational talent

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $153,850 - $208,150
