SAIC is seeking an Enterprise Systems Architect located in Pearl City, Hawaii to support the PACOM to develop, document, and analyze enterprise, operational, and system architectures for Department of Defense (DOD) combatant command headquarters

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • The Enterprise Architect searches, develops/documents, and analyzes enterprise, operational, and system architectures for Department of Defense (DOD) combatant command headquarters, develops DOD Architecture Framework (DODAF)/Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)-compliant views and associated data, and works with functional subject matter experts to collect and describe operational and system processes, nodes, activities, associated inputs, controls, outputs, and mechanisms.
  • The Enterprise Architect shall prepare, staff, and publish formal Command architecture documents, produce architecture development plans and reports and conducts Architecture Branch staff actions (tasks, papers, briefings, etc.) as required.
  • The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for researching, developing/documenting, and analyzing PACOM as-is and to-be architectures (including business/war-fighting/enterprise information environment/intelligence processes and information technology) to identify mission capability gaps, overlaps, and shortfalls; determines and recommends architectural, IT, or process solutions and researches and develops other architecture- related documents and plans as required.
  • The Enterprise Architect will be responsible for documenting and assessing PACOM’s transition to a data-centric command within their internal IT environment, compliant with Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2) Reference Architecture/Reference Design (RA/RD).

Qualifications

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree and nine (9) years’ experience; additional four (4) years’ experience can be considered in lieu of degree. 
  •  Experience with architecture tools, and modeling representations to model both Static and Dynamic relationships.
  • Experience working with Unified Modeling Language (UML).
  • Working knowledge of the Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF), Unified Architecture Framework (UAF) and/or other key DoD architecture and strategic planning instructions.
  • Advanced Microsoft Word and PowerPoint user capabilities to develop reports and presentations.
  • Production of DODAF-compliant war fighter domain architectures (e.g., logistics, joint training, force application, force management, force protection, and battle space awareness). Exposure to Cyberwarfare concepts is a plus.

REQUIRED CLEARANCE: 

  • Must possess an active Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI clearance. 
  • Must be a current US Citizen. 

Target salary range: $160,001 - $200,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
