The Boeing Company is looking for an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) Data Migration Lead to take ownership of one of the most critical transformations in our Sapphire Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) environment at our location in Hazelwood, MO; Long Beach, CA; North Charleston, SC or Seattle, WA.

In this role, you’ll lead the strategy, mapping, reconciliation, and long-term stewardship of ERP data across key enterprise systems, partnering closely with Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Master Data, Supply Chain, Product Data Management (PDM), and Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) teams.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Partner with cross-functional teams to define ERP migration scope and classify objects into must/should/nice/archival tiers

  • Develop and own master data mapping registry, survivorship rules and harmonization strategy for materials, vendors, customers, plants, units of measure and classification

  • Translate legacy ERP customization into S/4 data model mappings and recommend target design adjustments where necessary

  • Partner with cross-functional teams on system connector behavior, bulk load patterns, change data capture (CDC) strategy and performance tuning for SAP interfaces

  • Define and enforce data quality rules; approve remediation approaches for ERP data

  • Serve as Sapphire primary liaison to Finance, Procurement, Manufacturing, Master Data Offices and Supply Chain for data migration decisions and approvals

  • Ensure migration artifacts support audit and compliance requirements (mappings traceability, change logs, lineage evidence)

  • Document mappings, playbooks and handover artifacts

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP S/4HANA, and ERP operational processes

  • Experience with SAP Data Migration processes including preparation of conversion plan, timing of data loads, object dependencies, sequencing of tasks

  • Experience planning, creating, executing, and documenting master data management and data governance processes

  • Experience with Product Data Manager (PDM)

  • Experience leading and partnering with cross-functional teams, involving key stakeholder relationship management

  • Able and willing to travel up to 25% of the time domestically

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 10 or more years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or related technical discipline (or equivalent experience)

  • SAP certification(s)

  • Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated industries with complex configuration and traceability requirements

  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP Data Services, or third‑party migration tools and large‑volume load strategies

  • Experience with data mapping in S/4HANA

  • Experience with automated reconciliation tools and reconciliation dashboards.

  • Experience managing vendor professional services and contractor SOWs for migration work

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range for Level 4: $142,800 – $207,000

Summary pay range for Level 5: $172,550 – $249,550
