Overview
The Shipyard Test Organization is seeking a highly motivated candidate for Electrical Test Supervisor for the Columbia Class. The successful candidate should possess effective planning skills with the demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects in a fast paced team environment.
Specific responsibilities are but not limited to:
- Make daily work assignments to support test schedules.
- Maintain ACTE/CTE's awareness of problems relating to successful completion of scheduled testing.
- Provide direct supervision of test technicians activities on the ship.
- Maintain required paperwork (review paperwork daily for completeness and accuracy).
- Evaluate the performance of personnel and make recommendations for advancement, training or discipline.
- Ensure direct reports training is up to date to meet all testing requirements (daily).
- Ensure all Electric Boat policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Review and report manpower needs as required, meeting schedules.
- Must be capable of taking effective disciplinary action in accordance with company policy and procedures and confer with Human Resources concerning employee problems and manner of resolution
- Complete and maintain 6010, S&EP, and Work Controls Qualifications

Qualifications
Required:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 4+ years of relevant electrical or shipyard test experience or equivalent US Navy operational experience
Preferred:
- Post High School education
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate complex projects in a team environment
- Experience leading people
- Naval nuclear experience
