Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 3+ years of job-related experience or a Master's degree plus 2 years experience.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required within a reasonable period of time. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Responsibilities for this Position

Electrical Module Design Lead

As an Electrical Module Design Lead, youll guide an electrical team of 1-3 members and coordinate cross-functional teams, including mechanical, software, and systems experts. Youll be responsible for hardware design from requirements analysis through schematic capture, managing layout constraints, supporting PCB layout, manufacturing, integration & test, and qualification. Youll collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to develop mission-critical hardware systems.

Responsibilities:

As an Electrical Module Design Lead, you will be involved in all program phases, including:

  • Requirements analysis
  • System and Board Architecture
  • Schematic capture, defining routing constraints, and supporting PCB layout and routing activities
  • FPGA architecture and firmware
  • Supporting manufacturing, integration & test, and qualification
  • COTS components selection
  • Schedule and budget decisions
  • You will primarily support the Strategic Systems area developing fire control and launch system hardware, with opportunities to work across GDMS.

    Preferred Skills and Experiences:

  • Circuit card design incorporating embedded processors or FPGAs
  • Ability to execute a project from concept to production
  • Working knowledge of Siemens/Mentor Graphics Tools suite and FPGA design tools
  • Circuit and PCB design knowledge
  • What sets you apart:

    • Ability to execute a project from concept to production
    • Solid understanding of hardware development processes
    • Working knowledge of Siemens/Mentor Graphics Tools suite and FPGA design tools
    • Exceptional communication skills with the ability to digest customer requests into actionable requirements
    • Knowledge and application of EVMS and Control Account Management
    • Circuit and PCB design knowledge
    • Defense background is preferred, but not required

    Salary Note

    This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

    Combined Salary Range

    USD $100,219.00 - USD $111,180.00 /Yr.
