This position will be located in Patuxent River, MD.
Job Description
- Performs a variety of maintenance, modifications and technical support on E-2D Avionics, EMIRS and electrical systems, equipment, integrated systems, and subsystems, at various customer and/or field locations.
- Must be able to install, test, troubleshoot, and repair, E2D avionics systems in accordance with technical specifications and engineering instructions using aircraft wiring schematics and Automated Logistics Environment (ALE) data.
- Supports testing, exercises, and operations at CONUS and possible OCONUS locations.
Qualifications for Level 4:
Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
Must have a minimum of six (6) years of documented related work experience with E-2D Avionics systems.
Must be a US Citizen
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
- Interim clearance required to start.
- Extensive knowledge of Diagnose and repair of the E-2D systems to include RADAR, EMIRS, RF, internal communications, navigation, IFF, ESM, mission computer, and Data link systems.
- Possess familiarity with updating system software i.e., RADAR, IFF using the Controller Test Set (CTS).
This position requires the ability to perform moderate strenuous physical and repetitious work to include bending, stooping, kneeling, carrying tools, lifting up to 50 pounds, working overhead, and accessing small, confined spaces
Must be able to pass a physical/respiratory evaluation to obtain and maintain necessary respirator clearance and compliance with all respirator fitting requirements
