This position is located in Ogden, UT supporting the Sentinel program.
What You’ll Get To Do:
The Driver Heavy Vehicle 3 will support Strategic Deterrent Systems (SDS) program by operating heavy-duty trucks consisting of but not limited to combination vehicles, straight vehicles, and specialty equipment to transport materials, merchandise, or equipment. Will be transporting oversized overweight equipment, hazardous material, and explosives at times. Coordinate with customers for the loading or unloading of trucks and trailers with forklifts, pallet jacks, and other specialized lift equipment.
You’ll Bring These Qualifications:
High School diploma and 5 years’ experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have a Class A commercial driver license with passenger endorsement
Must have HAZMAT endorsement
Ability to work hours necessary to meet business objectives. This may include working overtime (40+ hours in a work week)
Must have clean driving record
Must be able to pass and maintain a DOT Physical (medical certification)
Must be able to pass a preemployment DOT Drug and Alcohol test
Experience with oversize overweight loads
Experience with Forklifts and Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Equipment
Must be a U.S. Citizen.
Ability to obtain and maintain Department of Defense (DOD) clearance.
These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:
DOT Hazmat Certification (Code of Federal Regulations 49)
Knowledge of FMCSR regulations
Experience with transporting hazmat material and placarding
Flatbed experience
Active DOD clearance with a refresh/reinvestigation within the last 5 years
Experience working under the safety and security requirements of a secure government facility

This positions standard work schedule is a 9/80. The 9/80 schedule allows employees who work a nine-hour day Monday through Thursday to take every other Friday off. This role may offer a competitive relocation assistance package.
