Customer representative accountable for all aspects (planning, forecasting, production) of the end-to-end lifecycle of a product. Impacts the team's ability to achieve service, quality and timeliness of objectives. The role is subject to operating policy objectives. There is moderate autonomy within the role. High levels of operational judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.

The Unison ERP Leader serves as the customer focused representative accountable for all aspects of the end-to-end lifecycle of Unison’s ERP products and platforms—including planning, forecasting, delivery, and ongoing operational performance. This role directly impacts Unison’s ability to achieve critical service, quality, and operational objectives by ensuring ERP systems reliably support manufacturing, supply chain, engineering, finance, and broader business execution. The position requires strong operational judgment to navigate complex technical, business, and cross functional decisions. The ERP Leader shapes and executes Unison’s long term ERP strategy, leads a large team of direct employees and contractors, and ensures alignment with enterprise-wide digital initiatives while supporting additional GE Aerospace business units.

Role Overview — ERP Leader, Unison
This role serves as the primary ERP leader for Unison , accountable for the strategic direction, stability, and performance of ERP platforms that enable Unison’s operations, supply chain, finance, engineering, and manufacturing functions. The leader will shape and execute the long-term ERP roadmap for Unison and coordinate with broader GE Aerospace enterprise ERP initiatives.

The position leads a team of 5+ direct reports and 10+ contractors across multiple vendors. This includes responsibility for the Oracle GOLF ERP instance embedded within Unison, as well as coordination within shared services environment. The ERP leader ensures alignment across multiple GE Aerospace businesses while maintaining a strong focus on the unique needs of the Unison organization.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Leverages deep process/domain expertise and partners with PO and technical development team. Influences key stakeholders in design and planning decisions. Drives the development of products that are targeted at a (usually) very technical audience. Combines the customer vision with technical feasibility to convert business needs into functional specifications/user stories. Works with customers/stakeholders to prioritize needs. Creates the strategic roadmap for the product. Coordinates work of several parallel teams to deliver on higher level outcomes. Responsible for transparent delivery and maximizing returns. Focuses on execution for the duration of a product release.
  • Manages a small to medium team of senior professionals as well as others. Requires specialized knowledge within the function. Influence the development of strategy for the area of responsibility, including control of resources and influences policy formulation.
  • Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
  • Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems in areas of operational, product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
  • May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Additional Key Responsibilities
• Serves as the ERP product owner for Unison, responsible for the strategy, roadmap, and performance of ERP systems that support Unison’s end-to-end operations.
• Leads and develops an ERP team focused on development operations and system operations. • Partners closely with Unison business leaders across Operations, Supply Chain, Engineering, Quality, Finance, and Customer Programs to ensure ERP capabilities scale with business priorities.
• Drives continuous improvement, standardization, modernization, and simplification of ERP processes and configurations; identify opportunities to standardize systems and improve stability.
• Provides governance and prioritization for enhancements, break/fixes, integrations, and vendor-delivered solutions supporting Unison’s digital operations.
• Executes robust program management across multiple parallel ERP initiatives, balancing technical complexity, multi-site needs, resource constraints, and business timelines.
• Manages budget, vendor relationships, and multi‑year investment planning for Unison’s ERP programs.
• Serves as escalation point for critical ERP issues supporting Unison manufacturing sites and extended GE Aerospace operations

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from accredited university or college with minimum of 8 years of professional experience OR Associates degree with minimum of 11 years of professional experience OR High School Diploma with minimum of 13 years of professional experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Technical Product Management
  • Note: Military experience is equivalent to professional experience
