Summary
Job Description
At NVIDIA, our mission is to transform industries through the power of accelerated computing and artificial intelligence. For more than two decades, we have pioneered visual computing and redefined how technology solves the world’s most complex problems. Today, our GPUs and AI platforms empower breakthroughs in deep learning, robotics, healthcare, self-driving cars, and more. Within our global IT organization, the IT PMO acts as the Strategy & Planning Office, encouraging alignment across IT programs, portfolios, and central initiatives. We are launching a new IT Data Analytics & Insights Org to define, manage, and scale the analytics platforms, metrics, and dashboards used to measure IT efficiency.
This is a Director-level position. Initially, the role will involve hands-on work, blending technical tasks with long-term vision. As the groundwork is laid, the Director will take on the task of forming and overseeing an effective team. Duties include designing analytics solutions, setting up structures, and providing complete solutions, with possible growth into leadership roles. The focus is on making an impact through technical skills, influence, and knowledge, with leadership demonstrated through vision and results rather than team supervision.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Construct and implement robust enterprise-level analytics and insights solutions to assess and enhance IT efficiency.
Establish vision, governance, methods, and procedures for IT analytics and performance management across global organizations.
Serve as the primary hands-on expert for executive dashboards, standardized reporting, operational metrics, and advanced analytics platforms.
Create prototypes and production-grade analytics models, data flows, and dashboard solutions; collaborate directly with engineering and business partners to address critical issues.
Translate business and IT requirements into reporting frameworks and actionable insights.
Act as a trusted advisor to IT and business leadership—driving strategy, standard methodologies, and data-driven decision making. Influence and develop roadmaps for IT analytics platforms, collaborating widely with cross-functional teams.
Lead pivotal initiatives and develop scalable approaches for data quality, governance, and usage. Opportunity to transition the role into a team leadership position as the function expands.
What We Need to See:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, or related field (or equivalent experience).
15+ years of progressive experience in IT data analytics, business intelligence, or related domains, with demonstrated independent ownership of complex analytics solutions.
8+ years direct people management experience.
Deep technical prowess in analytics and visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Looker, Qlik, ThoughtSpot) and big data platforms (Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery, AWS Redshift).
Proven hands-on experience crafting, implementing, and optimizing frameworks for indicators, scorecards, and executive dashboards at scale.
Experience defining and rolling out standards, critical metrics, and advanced methodologies for analytics programs.
Strong ability to communicate and influence at the executive level, coupled with demonstrated project leadership and independent execution.
Ways to stand out from the crowd:
Acknowledged for proficiency in analytics or BI, with a history of spearheading significant projects that impact performance assessment across the organization.
Demonstrated capability in partnering with IT, Finance, or Engineering teams on high-visibility data projects crucial to the business.
Proficient at harmonizing strategic foresight with practical technical implementation and troubleshooting.
Established reputation for influencing outcomes without formal authority.
You will also be eligible for equity and benefits.
Applications for this job will be accepted at least until December 14, 2025.NVIDIA is committed to fostering a diverse work environment and proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
