The Role
HII is seeking a Program Director – Enterprise AI & Data Governance -for our Corporate office. This position serves as the executive leader responsible for establishing, governing, and advancing the company’s enterprise Data & Artificial Intelligence capabilities. This role maintains corporate oversight of Data Governance, AI Governance, Responsible AI adoption, and enterprise data management modernization. In addition, this position provides strategic program leadership for critical enterprise-wide initiatives, ensuring alignment, collaboration, and integration across all business units to drive organizational value and innovation
Key Responsibilities:
Governance & Oversight
- Chair the AI Governance & Enablement Board and lead the Enterprise Data Governance Committee.
- Define AI risk classification, approval pathways, and reporting to EVP/CIO.
- Establish corporate standards for data classification, stewardship, quality, and lifecycle management.
Strategy & Alignment
- Develop operating models for governance and execution across divisions.
- Align AI roadmap with cybersecurity, enterprise architecture, and digital transformation.
- Partner with Corporate Strategy and divisional CIOs/CTOs for business alignment.
Data Modernization
- Implement enterprise data standards and governance platforms.
- Oversee metadata, catalog management, and data quality controls.
Program Leadership
- Build and lead a Data & AI governance team.
- Manage cross-divisional initiatives, vendor relationships, and change management.

Must Have
Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 10 years of applicable, progressive professional and/or supervisory work experience OR Master's degree and 8 years of relevant work experience.
