The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Contract Management Specialist (Experienced or Senior) to join the Intellectual Property/Data Rights team within the Contracts organization in either Tukwila or Everett, WA

The candidate will focus primarily on intellectual property and data rights issues evident in, or arise during execution of, prime contracts with the U.S. Government.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Exercises appropriate signature authority, leads, and participates in negotiating and contracting for the sale and support of aerospace products, services, technologies, financing and the licensing of intellectual property and resolution of data rights issues to support company strategies

  • Leads the development of junior teammates in contractual discipline

  • Represents the company in external negotiations to a set of customers and supports procurement agents in negotiating with suppliers

  • Prepares, negotiates, executes, interprets and administers legally binding contractual agreements of a complex nature for The Boeing Company

  • Leads coordination and partnership with other internal functional disciplines

  • Summarizes complex contractual issues, and leads development of creative solutions and coordination of contractual risk mitigation

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience with complex contracts

  • 3+ years of experience with Intellectual Property (IP) licensing

  • 3+ years of experience working with cross functional teams

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Experience with intellectual property licensing, assessing risk in intellectual property use

  • Experience working with commercial, government and/or international contracts

  • Experience providing guidance to all levels of management on contractual rights and obligations, risk avoidance and mitigation, strategy, and problem solving

  • Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS)

  • Experience using strong organization skills and high attention to detail

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment while being in a leadership role

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range (Experienced, Level 3): $96,050 - $129,950

Summary pay range (Senior, Level 4): $118,150 - $159,850
