Communications Manager (Starlink Enterprise)

Starlink is seeking a resourceful and execution-oriented Communications Manager to support global enterprise customer marketing and drive Starlink's revenue across key industries such as maritime, agriculture, financial services, and beyond. As a key member of the team, the Communications Manager will coordinate communications with enterprise customers, collaborate cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, and develop integrated strategies-including paid media initiatives-that demonstrate the critical importance of Starlink's global connectivity. Working closely with the paid media team, this role will help plan, execute, and optimize messaging, media buys, and ad placements across multiple channels to accelerate awareness, acquisition, and revenue growth. RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Develop and lead enterprise-focused communication strategies to promote Starlink's immediate priorities and long-term business goals, with clear impact on revenue growth.
  • Create compelling, multi-channel communications materials that enhance brand visibility, support business development, and position Starlink as the leader in global connectivity to drive revenue opportunities.
  • Drive paid media business outcomes by partnering with the paid media team to plan, execute, and optimize messaging, media buys, and ad placements across digital and traditional channels.
  • Ensure external communications, including customer press releases, social media activity, and media interviews, consistently reflect Starlink's messaging, visual identity, and tone.
  • Deliver communications support to internal stakeholders while contributing to enterprise awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue-generating efforts. Other responsibilities as assigned.

BASIC REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in marketing, communications or public relations.

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Exceptional verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong writing skills, demonstrating the ability to communicate information to multiple audiences.
  • Experience with social media strategies and tactics.
  • Established skills in strategic and critical thinking, decision-making, negotiation, and relationship-building.
  • Ability to quickly grasp and synthesize complex issues.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Highly organized, detail oriented and possess a proven ability to thrive under deadline pressure.
  • Successful experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic, results-oriented team environment.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be willing to be onsite and travel to other SpaceX locations, ~15%.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

Pay range:
Communications Manager: $120,000.00 - $160,000.00/per year

Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.

Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX. You may also be eligible for long-term incentives, in the form of company stock or long-term cash awards, as well as potential discretionary bonuses and the ability to purchase additional stock at a discount through an Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
