Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is seeking an Experienced Business Process Analyst to join the Manufacturing & Safety Organization in Everett, Washington.

This is an opportunity to become a key member of a team responsible for transforming Boeing Commercial Airplane’s current production systems with digital technologies to support daily planning. We are passionate about cultivating the intersection of technology and business process to improve quality, safety, and flow within our factories.

This individual will be responsible for conducting assessments of processes and practices for comparison to applicable standards and criteria. Analyzing and interpreting data. Providing feedback on assessment results. Working with organizations to develop strategies, plans and metrics to accomplish company initiatives using Lean methodologies or other applicable tools and processes. Working at the appropriate level in the organization to implement strategies and plans. Works under general direction.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Define or align to BCA standard processes and define requirements for development teams

  • Partner with Manufacturing, IT, Quality, Engineering, and additional peers, partners, and stakeholders to develop and execute the BCA Production System Strategy

  • Ensure projects execute to plan, budget, scope, and success criteria

  • Develop or oversee metrics to tie projects back to the business case and program performance

  • Develop and maintain relationships and open communication with all stakeholders

  • Integrate with partner organizations within BCA Manufacturing and Safety Core (workplace coaches, training, business intelligence team, Line Side Control Center, and more)

  • Partner with Product Development and Digital Transformation teams to provide requirements for the future production systems

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Everett, Washington.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 

  • 5+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/production environment

  • 3+ years of experience working in a cross-functional environment

  • 2+ years of experience in teaching or explaining concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences 

  • Willing to work 1st or 2nd shift on a rotational basis as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 

  • 3+ years of experience with Quality Management Systems and/or Boeing Production System (BPS)

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent

  • Academic or professional experience performing technical writing

  • 1+ years of experience with data analytics

  • 1+ years of project management experience

  • 1+ years utilizing Lean Best Practices to deliver efficiency gains

  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, HCL Leap, and/or Tableau

  • Experience using SQL to query databases

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.  

Summary pay range:

$95,200 - $105,280
