Description: Business Operations and Compliance Representative (P56 - Direct)
Manage business operations and compliance activities with a strong focus on Oracle and Supply Chain Management (SCM) applications:
Oracle Support & SCM Expertise:
- Provide expert-level support for Oracle applications as they pertain to SCM activities, including planning, purchasing, requisitions, and related functions.
- Act as the subject matter expert (SME) for Oracle SCM modules, ensuring best practices are followed and issues are resolved efficiently.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize Oracle SCM processes and workflows.
Compliance Management:
- Oversee compliance activities related to the GDLS supply base, ensuring alignment with regulatory and organizational standards.
- Assist in managing and tracking Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) shared with suppliers, ensuring secure and compliant handling.
SCM IT Functional Support:
- Serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for SCM IT activities, bridging the gap between technical teams and business operations.
- Monitor and troubleshoot supplier access to GDLS applications.
- Support the development, modifications, and upgrades of enterprise and supply chain applications related to supplier management.
Supplier Management & Onboarding:
- Provide oversight and operational/strategic execution for supplier onboarding processes.
- Maintain and update SCM internal portals and external websites with critical supply chain information.
SCM/IT Projects:
- Lead the execution of IT projects, interfacing between IT and SCM
- Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in business processes and systems.
- Manage projects from initiation to completion, including schedule management and issue resolution.
Job Requirements
- Experience:
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in business operations, supply chain management, or related fields.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree required (preferred fields: Information Technology, Supply Chain Management (SCM), or related disciplines).
- Technical Skills:
- Strong technical expertise in Oracle applications, with a focus on SCM modules and data management.
- Proficiency in ERP/Oracle SCM tools and reporting/query development platforms such as COGNOS and OBIEE.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve Oracle-related technical and functional issues efficiently.
- Communication & Leadership:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proven ability to lead discussions and present to audiences of varying sizes, including cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Work Style:
- Self-directed, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively in both team environments and independently.
- Customer Service:
- Prior experience in customer service or supplier-facing roles is preferred.
- Additional Attributes:
- Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and follow-up.
