Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate Supply Chain Specialist (Level 2) to join the Government Training Execution team within its Supply Chain Organization in Hazelwood, MO. The position will consist of ensuring on-time delivery of material supporting production of Government Training devices. The successful candidates will be expected to serve as the primary execution support focal for assigned delivery requirements and support U.S. and Non-U.S Government Military customers.
Position Responsibilities:
Validating supplier schedules
Managing high volume of purchase requirements to endure purchase order placement
Shortage mitigation
Constraint management
Providing order status
Trouble shooting
Developing solutions to complex problems with solutions that are consistent with organization objectives,
Performing analysis on requirements and supplier schedules to accommodate numerous customer requirements
Partnering with numerous ancillary functions to ensure customer commitments are met.
The candidate will serve as a primary focal and external spokesperson for the team on major matters pertaining to the performance and delivery of spares and ground support equipment requirements, and will be required to compile and present performance data to various levels of management.
Assist in identification and resolution of supply chain management constraints, discrepancies, and risks that impact on-time delivery and revenue capture.
Assist in monitoring performance metrics, perform trend analysis and take mitigating action to meet performance objectives.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously to ensure strong financial performance and on-time delivery of spares contracts.
Primary systems and tool’s include SCARS, SMPP, NWP, GOLD, CMPRO and Microsoft Excel.
Basic Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year experience using strong analytical and problem solving skills
Minimum of 1 year experience with Microsoft Excel application using: formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, charts, filters, and linking worksheets
Minimum of 1 year experience working with cross-functional or cross-organizational teams to develop and implement plans, schedules, or solutions
Minimum of 1 year experience in Supply Chain Management
Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience):
Bachelor’s degree or higher.
Experience in a role requiring strategic planning (project/program management).
Basic understanding of constraint process
Experience in using the GOLD system

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range: 73,950 - 100,050
