Northrop Grumman Defense Systems sector is seeking a Associate/ Program Cost, Schedule & Control Analyst (Level 1 or 2) in Rocket Center, WV

The Program Cost, Schedule & Control Analyst will interact with various operating unit, business area, and division staff to solve reporting program issues and meet reporting requirements. In addition, the Analyst will interface with program managers, functional management, control account managers (CAMs) and business managers to provide financial support and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Sets up the cost control system and monitors and controls costs on contracts
  • Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure that contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
  • Prepares budgets for contract work and performs or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
  • Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
  • Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
  • Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines

Basic Qualifications for Associate:

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 4 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline
  • Strong computer skills

Basic Qualifications for Program Cost, Schedule & Control Analyst:

  • This position emphasizes skills and experience. Will consider one of following: High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 6 years of experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related discipline with 2 years of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Defense Industry Experience
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and analyze data and figures
  • Prior program cost control experience
  • Prior financial analysis and/or reporting experience
  • Active DoD Secret security clearance

Primary Level Salary Range: $52,800.00 - $79,200.00

Secondary Level Salary Range: $0.00 - $0.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
