The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Associate Industrial Security Analyst to join the team in Seal Beach, CA.

As an associate Industrial Security Specialist, you will work with senior and junior staff members to administer and implement United States (US) Industrial Security Standards as outlined in the National Industrial Security Program Manual (NISPOM), the Department of Defense (DoD) Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Administrative Security Manual, Special Access Program (SAP) Security rules and/or other authoritative sources of security regulations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Utilize US Government (USG) specific databases to determine personnel eligibility to access classified information such as Defense Information System for Security (DISS), Scattered Castles, Enterprise Security Systems (SIMS), and other databases and record-keeping repositories

  • Assist in conducting initial and recurring security briefings to cleared workforce members on topics such as critical program information, marking, safeguarding and destroying classified information, operations security, physical and communication security, and other security training as required

  • Manage personnel records, classified material records, and/or other sensitive records to ensure the highest levels of data integrity and correctness

  • Participate in inventories and records reconciliation actions to ensure accuracy and accountability

  • Contribute to activity or program concept of operation (CONOPs) outlining unique security protection requirements for sensitive operations; establish procedures for protecting, handling, storing, and transporting proprietary materials

  • Communicate across the security workforce, Boeing engineering, managerial, and technical teams, as well as senior Boeing personnel and United States (US) Government customers, to meet contract goals, make security determinations, or apply deviations from standard practices as may be required

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years

  • Ability to obtain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Program (SAP)

  • 1+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security, and/or other programmatic security-related field

  • Experience using MS Office Applications

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Government Polygraph

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • CDSE, NSTI/SASSI or other Professional Certification in SAP Security, SCI Administration, ICD-705, JSIG/RMF, COMSEC, or related security certifications

  • Experience working in an SCI/SAP/Aerospace security/intelligence community environment

  • Experience with NISPOM and DoD SAP Manuals

  • Experience with multi-tasking with minimal supervision

  • Experience with working in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience with building relationships with internal and external customers

  • Experience supporting large groups of people

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $77,350 - $104,650
