Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking an Associate/Experienced Capability Specialist to join the Distribution Services team in Hialeah, FL, Chandler, AZ, Dallas, TX or Wichita, KS.
The candidate will be part of a Planning team to support deployment and sustainment of the demand forecasting & inventory planning software tool, Servigistics / Planning Data Layer (SVG/PDL).
The candidate must have good technical/analytical problem-solving skills as well as good communication (verbal, written), presentation (WebEx, PowerPoint), and teaming (engagement) abilities. Key duties include supporting a team to stand up and sustain forecasting and inventory optimization activities with the Servigistics(SVG) tool, integrating the tool with data systems, and building relationships with key supply chain and IT contacts for successful production use of SVG/PDL. Candidate will work with supply chain subject matter experts and technical leaders, acting as a focal to translating business needs into technical solutions. Success is measured via functioning software and useful inventory planning outcomes for business users.
Position Responsibilities:
This position encompasses a variety of responsibilities focused on Boeing’s Distributions Services.
Functional supply chain support to sustainment, development and deployment of demand & supply planning tools – SVG.
Owns documentation of Business processes and the planning tool's capabilities to support objectives
Understanding of Forecasting and Optimization best practices
Develop statistical material forecasts for multi-echelon supply chain networks requiring optimized solutions.
Studies assigned Problem statements and business requirements to evaluate model performance
Recommends techniques and adjustments to parameters to achieve objectives
Connect systems and large data sets across business units and functions to develop forecast models that support shifting business and market trends
Support Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP) through improvements in data insights and dashboards
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience in supply chain simulation and/or demand and inventory material modeling.
3+ years of experience in Database querying and manipulation skills (such as SQL, Python)
This position must meet export control compliance requirements. To meet export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
5+ years of experience in supply chain simulation and/or demand and inventory material modeling.
5+ years of experience in Database querying and manipulation skills (such as SQL, Python)
Experience in Service Parts Management (SPM)
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, Industrial Engineering, Data Analytics, Business or related fields.
Experience with statistical analysis.
Travel:
This position may require traveling up to 25% of the time.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Summary pay range:
Associate (Level 2) $63,000.00 - $104,000.00
Experienced (Level 3) $79,000.00 - $128,000.00
