Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Associate Level Manufacturing Assembler to support our team at Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Performs routine production assembly operations on structural and mechanical assemblies, subassemblies and aircraft systems, equipment and accessories using manual operations.

  • Solves routine problems of limited scope and complexity by following established practices and procedures.

  • Has substantial and thorough understanding of the job

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • High School Diploma or GED required

  • Ability to read, understand, engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

  • Availability to work any shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 1 + year of experience working with specialized tools (e.g., electrical and mechanical wire crimpers and strippers, wire routing tools, accessing computer files, multi-meters)

  • Understanding of aircraft manufacturing processes and how to build products to established quality and configuration requirements.

  • Ability to read and interpret technical information including engineering drawings, work instructions, wiring diagrams, and test procedures to safely and accurately build the product.

  • Complete knowledge of shop processes to include Foreign Object Damage/Debris (FOD) prevention, material handling, safety, and calibration requirements

  • Demonstrates an interest in personal learning and development. Seeks feedback from multiple sources about how to improve and develop; modifies behavior based on feedback or self-analysis of past mistakes. Take steps to develop and maintain the knowledge, skill, and ability to perform.

  • Demonstrates a willingness to accept responsibility and accountability for one's actions. Exhibits a moral, legal or mental accountability in areas of responsibility

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $49,300 - $66,700 USD
