Basic Qualifications

Requires a Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.



Responsibilities for this Position

ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:

As a Systems Engineer on RSP, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas:

Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testingRequirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirementsModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysisHardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systemsRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM. Agile experience preferred.
  • 2+ years of professional experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements Analysis, Model Based Systems Engineering or Hardware Systems work (Master's degree may substitue for experience).
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Experience in Systems Engineering, including Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems.
  • Knowledge of systems design, MBSE modeling, and simulation.
  • Familiarity with requirements management tools (DOORS, Cameo, or similar).
  • Experience with defense, aerospace, or mission-critical systems.
Key Responsibilities

Execute systems engineering activities in Test & Integration, Requirements, MBSE, or Hardware-Systems, depending on focus area.Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure system performance, reliability, and compliance.Document, review, and manage system requirements using requirements management tools and MBSE.Participate in design reviews, verification, and validation activities.What Sets You Apart

Salary Note

This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.). Actual pay may vary. This job posting will remain open until the position is filled.

Combined Salary Range

USD $112,924.00 - USD $125,275.00 /Yr.
