Basic Qualifications
Requires a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities for this Position
ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:
As a mechanical engineer for Orca, youll be a member a cross functional team responsible for the design and analysis of critical subsea components and systems.
We encourage you to apply if you have any of these preferred skills or experiences:
Extensive experience with Mechanical Design.
Extensive experience with SolidWorks and/or Creo.
Experience with performing Analysis of Mechanical Designs

- Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools (Solidworks or Creo) to create mechanical models and drawings
- Strong proficiency with Analysis tools (Ansys, Matlab) to perform structual, shock and vibration analyses
- Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards
- Collaborative, creative thinker with experience leading complex projects
- Strong communication skills with ability to write technical papers and proposals

Combined Salary Range
USD $126,701.00 - USD $132,000.00 /Yr.
