Northrop Grumman is seeking Associate Manufacturing Analysts. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in San Diego, CA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Mission Systems Manufacturing Organization.   

The Manufacturing Analyst will support use and optimization of the current Manufacturing Execution System (MES), Solumina. The Manufacturing Analyst will work closely with the Manufacturing Engineering Department to assist with generation and revision of Manufacturing Work Instruction (MWI), perform administrative functions within the MES, and coordinate with the Solumina Development Team to optimize the performance and usage of the MES.

Basic Qualifications: 

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

  • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s) from an accredited institution

  • Be majoring in or having majored in STEM majors

  • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

  • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs 

  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (such as SAP/ERP or other related system)

  • Intermediate User for MS Office 365 (Word, Excel – pivot tables, PowerPoint) & Tableau


Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

  • Experience with Solumina MES

  • Experience authoring MWI and/or training material

Salary Range:

$63,000.00 to $94,600.00
