Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking to hire a Strategic Sourcing & DCMA Integration Manager 3 in support of the Sentinel Program. This position will be located in Roy, UT and may offer a competitive relocation package.

What You'll Get to Do:

You will be responsible for the management of the Strategic Sourcing & Compliance (SS&C) team, ensuring our strategic suppliers remain synchronized with the Prime Sentinel contract. You must be able to effectively communicate complex technical issues and solutions. A strong understanding of Systems Engineering principles and applied knowledge in the application of requirements allocation, specialty engineering (Nuclear Surety, Cyber, Safety, Electromagnetic Environmental Effects (E3), Nuclear Hardness & Survivability), and program planning is highly desired.

Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Oversight, direction, and mentorship of SS&C team

• Ensure the timely and complete flow down of all Statement of Work (SOW) requirements to a complex and geographically dispersed supply base

• Navigate the large set of specialty compliance requirements on contract to make sure applicable requirements and standards flow to our suppliers

• Engage with our Global Supply Chain (GSC) team to align the Subcontract Management Teams (SMTs) with the supplier compliance vision

• Own the technical content creation with responsibility to meet cost, schedule and technical requirements

• Track ongoing technical tasking from creation to completion

• Validate all technical activities are captured in appropriate database(s) and agreed upon with the customer

• Communicate effectively and concisely to our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) and customers, present technical approaches, and adjust the strategy accordingly as direction evolves

• Serve as the Systems Engineering Team (SET) representative to our government partners, working issues to resolution as they arise

In addition to technical skills, you will be a self-starter with strong time management skills for yourself and team. Your organizational skills and ability to anticipate future challenges will serve you well. The ability to act as a team leader, multi-task, delegate, and communicate clearly will ensure the success of the SSC team and the SET IPT.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s of Science in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) field and at least 8 years of related systems engineering experience or Master's degree and 6 years of related experience

• Must be a US Citizen with an active DoD Top Secret Clearance with an investigation date within the last 6 years

• Must be able to be successfully screened for Enhanced Security Clearances, within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs

• 3 year experience performing Earned Value Management System (EVMS)

• Supplier management experience to include contract, cost, and schedule management

• Experience managing and developing technical requirements for suppliers

These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have:

• Experience in effective communication to clearly present technical approaches and findings to the ELT and Sentinel customer

• Risk and Opportunity Management experience (identification and development of risks) and driving risk mitigations to closure

• Communicate complex technical issues and solutions to SSC team members and management

• Experience communicating with the Functional Homeroom (FHR) to establish standardized Sentinel processes

• Self-starter compelled to take action in the workplace without requiring prompting from supervisors

• Supplier negotiation experience (requirement applicability, cost, schedule)

Primary Level Salary Range: $166,700.00 - $250,100.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
