Job Description

Northrop Grumman is looking for two Electronic Technician 4 to join our team. This position is located in Englewood, CO. This position requires working 1st shift. The candidate should be a self-starter.

The candidate must be able to apply electronics principles in the fabrication, test, and troubleshooting of complete components, assemblies, devices, circuits, and systems. The Electronics Technician will perform acceptance test procedures that verify equipment function.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but is not limited to:

  • Must be capable of adapting to changing assignments and requirements.
  • Developing, constructing, integrating, and testing Ground Entry Point assemblies, devices, circuits and systems; developing and constructing experimental and prototype devices, models and systems working from very general information; performing repairs and calibrations as necessary
  • Assisting Manufacturing engineers in creating Manufacturing Work Instructions, processes and operations that assure proper function of product and test equipment per design specifications by working from Manufacturing Work Instructions, general block diagrams, rough outlines of basic circuits, oral instructions, schematics, etc; making necessary calculations to obtain or compare data as required.
  • Troubleshooting of systems, devices, processes and/or test set-ups to locate and repair defective areas
  • Performing integration of hardware through debugging, modifying systems; performing maintenance and integration of peripherals and networks
  • Determining the methods and techniques for effectively monitoring various tests and measuring electrical performance on complex systems
  • Selection, set up, calibration and operation of complex and special equipment and facilities over a broad spectrum of technologies.
  • Verification and validation of product and paperwork configuration, test processes and test equipment/setup configuration and calibration
  • Measuring, collecting and recording of electrical performance data including analysis and evaluation of the data, experimental models, resultant data, etc. that verifies the reliability and validity of the desired function, preparing accurate and complete test reports of all recorded data
  • Programming and verification of devices
  • Performing initial procedural tests on new and/or changed equipment; making modifications/calibrations as required to achieve desired results

These positions will be filled for 1st shift.

Basic Qualifications for the Electronics Technician:

  • High School Diploma/GED with an additional 6 or more years of relevant experience with fabrication and test of complex components, assemblies, devices, circuits and systems
  • Must have experience with electronics principles.

Preferred Qualifications for the Electronics Technician:

  • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
  • Hardware integration of various sizes of components and payloads
  • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment
  • Experience in Defense Contractor Environments
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma and Continuous Improvement

Primary Level Salary Range: $79,100.00 - $131,900.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
