***This position is physically located in Qatar in support of LOGCAP***

Operate and manage the Mail Operations at Camp As Sayliyah (CAS), Qatar. Supervisor must perform a wide variety of duties to manage, control and coordinate Mail Service functions at CAS.


Responsibilities
  • Supervisor is responsible to manage all postal operations for. The services are as follows: mail processing and distribution (Operations Section), customer service, parcel inspections, nesting/receptible dispatch, and schedule coordination for pickup of mail daily.
  • Supervisor interfaces directly with the APO and internal customers, manages mission performance, and resolve mail service issues.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as required. The following is a list of the major responsibilities of the job responsibility.
  • APO Operational Planning/employee workload management
  • Employee Training
  • Postal runs to Hamad International Airport, and Doha Post Office
  • Postal Claims and Inquires
  • Report Submissions
  • Must be willing to work on holidays, short notices, and overtime to support mission requirements.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education if degree is required.
    • Must be a U.S. Citizen
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent is required.
    • Must possess a current U.S. Driver's License or Current Driver's License for overseas.
    • Must be able to obtain a local Qatari Driver's License.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum two (2) years of experience in mailroom operations, customer service and administration.
  • Skills:
    • Must possess good team building and Customer Service skills.
  • Working Conditions:
    • None. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions (such as in typical office or administrative work.)
  • Physical Requirements:
    • Very heavy work. Exerting in excess of 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
