Summary
Job Description
Receives, orders, and controls all classified and un-classified technical correspondence in accordance with NA-00-25-100 and other applicable maintenance manuals. Ensures a central source of up to date maintenance information for the use of all personnel in the performance of their work and includes the management of all dispersed libraries in accordance with the CNAFINST 4790.2 (series).
Responsibilities
Analyze science, engineering, business, and other data processing problems to develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns. Perform systems management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and schedule limitations. Improve computer systems. Analyze user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations May analyze or recommend commercially available software.
Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Shall have completed the specific Navy ATPL Course
- Two years of general experience and one-year specialized experience (within the last six years) working as a Navy technical publications or USAF/USMC Technical Orders Librarian
- Specialized experience involved receiving, screening, distribution, and inventory management of aviation technical publications/technical directives
- Ability to accurately type and have a working knowledge of automatic data processing, computer media and microfiche equipment
- Ability to obtain or maintain a secret security clearance
- Shall have a valid driver's license
