This role is at Spirit AeroSystems, Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company, supporting Spirit’s Commercial Business Units (“Spirit Commercial”). Spirit Commercial designs and builds commercial aerostructures, including for Boeing Commercial Airplanes, one of Boeing’s three business units and the premier manufacturer of commercial jetliners for decades. Spirit Commercial’s core products include fuselages, pylons, nacelles and wing components, with a focus on innovative composite and aluminum manufacturing solutions. 

POSITION PURPOSE:

This position is responsible for the technical, cost, schedule, and quality performance of the Integrated Product Teams end items and deliverables. In this role, you will provide business leadership and guidance for an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and associated statement of work as delegated by the Sr. IPT Manager, including profit and loss targets as appropriate.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Leading a multi-site, global customer support team and developing standard processes across all sites
  • Develop and maintain positive customer relationships and addresses customer concerns in a proactive manner according to company standards
  • Must be able to answer complex customer inquiries on product availability, part interchangeability, maintenance, and the status of orders
  • Coordinates the resolution of all customer issues related to pricing, schedule, cost, quality, warranty, invoicing, and technical matters
  • Proactively communicates with the customer to acknowledge receipt of all customer requests and provides status reports to the customer on a regular basis
  • Acts as focal point for all incoming and outgoing written and verbal communication with assigned customer(s)
  • Ensure that the company provides the highest quality services during selected customer visits, exhibit trade shows, air shows, conferences, special events and product demonstrations, evaluations, and deliveries
  • Complete special projects and other duties as assigned. (e.g. invoicing, A/R, billing reviews, providing revised certs and other paperwork, collecting usage fees, concessions, new customer set up, scrubbing data for accuracy)
  • Maintain knowledge of Boeing Wichita organization and products to provide the appropriate information and support to customers

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 5 years relevant experience

  • Must be able to make appropriate business judgements and decisions independently
  • Must be able to effectively manage multiple tasks simultaneously with rapid changes in priorities
  • Must be able to handle adverse and urgent situations
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Strong written and oral communication skills

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $94,800 - $145,350
