Northrop Grumman Defense Systems Tactical Ground Equipment (TGE) is looking for a Deployment Operations Product Owner to support the Base Operations Network (BONES) OCONUS Operations within Deployment Product Team.

The primary objective of the position is to support the TGE Deployment Product Management Team in the successful management of a functional team of 8-12 CONUS and OCONUS Field Service Engineers. The role also supports Cost Account Manager (CAM) activities on specific BONES programs, risk and opportunity management, customer interaction, proposal support, and OCONUS deployment operations. Primary responsibilities include the management and oversight to the following critical functions:

Team Leadership & Functional Management (20%)

Support staffing strategy and requisition planning in collaboration with hiring teams.

Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to screen candidates, conduct interviews, and, when appropriate, extend hiring recommendations or offers.

Manage career development, goal-setting, performance reviews, and merit planning for direct reports.

Provide mentorship, guidance, and discipline when needed, to support team growth and performance.

Facilitate access to tools, hardware, and resources needed for employee success.

Deliver regular organizational updates and represent leadership across programs and teams.

Deployment Operations Product Owner (80%)

Supervise and manage the efforts of the Deployment Operations Team for both CONUS and OCONUS Teams.

Conduct strategic planning to align operations with customer requirements.

Plan and coordinate with Development and Logistics Product Owners to execute hardware and software upgrade rollouts per customer direction.

Manage equipment and personnel relocations at OCONUS sites per customer directives.

Supervise the daily activities of 8-12 team members, aligning their efforts and reporting status to the Deployment Product Owner and Deployment Product Integrator.

Ensure the Operations Team adheres to customer specified mobility processes for deploying personnel both CONUS and OCONUS.

Provide support to CAM responsibilities across the eight programs within the TGE BONES Program Suite.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 4 years of experience.

1+ year of experience leading technical projects or teams with schedule accountability.

Demonstrated experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) or Cost-focused project management.

Hands-on experience with networking technologies or CUAS C2 Systems

Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in multicultural OCONUS settings, including knowledge of host‑nation regulations and operational security (OPSEC) considerations.

Prior exposure to cross‑functional Agile environments, working closely with Development, Logistics, and Systems Engineering product owners.

Experience with U.S. Government contracts or defense systems.

Proven ability to represent organizational capabilities to customers and stakeholders.

Primary Level Salary Range: $105,000.00 - $157,600.00

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
