The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Boiler Operator-High Pressure in Ridley Park, PA.

Boiler Operators operate and perform preventive maintenance on high pressure steam boilers, piping and auxiliary equipment.

Position Duties:

  • Operate and maintain high pressure steam generating equipment that supplies steam used for heating, hot water and processing.

  • Perform systematic checks of combustion-control systems and water-feed regulators; making repairs; dismantling, cleaning, and reassembling burners; tending to auxiliary equipment; and adjusting steam pressure, fuel-air ratio, and water levels

  • Ensures economical operation of heating system by making required adjustments to obtain satisfactory CO2 readings, proper stack temperatures, and flue gas quality that avoids conflict with local air pollution ordinances.

  • Order and maintain supply or replacement parts and completes work orders and maintain records as required.

  • May provide instruction to employees designated to assist with the above duties.

  • Perform work in accordance with oral and written instructions from management and in conformance with company standards of safety, workmanship, and good housekeeping practices.

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. US person includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • 3+ years’ experience in the operation and preventative maintenance of high pressure boiler systems.

  • Candidate must be able to work any shift, as assigned.

Additional Information:

  • This is an hourly position governed by the UAW Collective Bargaining agreement.

  • This position will be on 3rd shift, but must be open to all shifts

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Salary Range : $32.97 - $52.07
