Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Fabrication Specialist- Emergent Operations tub shop to join our team in North Charleston, South Carolina on 2nd shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements manufacturing processes
  • Provides concurrent engineering support
  • Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope
  • Reviews and approves technical documents
  • Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast
  • Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation
  • Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects
  • Serves as primary interface with internal customers
  • Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization
  • Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work on-site at one of the listed location options.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of aerospace, Fabrication, or Manufacturing experience
  • 1+ years of experience in drilling structures composite/metal
  • 1+ years’ experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings or blueprints
  • Ability to use and operate low impact vibratory tools for an extended period of time
  • Must be willing to work 2nd shift

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 787 Program experience
  • 3+ years’ experience drilling aerospace structures composite/metal

Summary Pay Range: $54,000-$64,000
