Boeing Space, Intelligence & Weapons Systems (SI&WS) in Seal Beach, California, seeks a Software Configuration Management professional to support the ESS – MPA Phase 3 program, contingent on program award.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Review software documentation for internal consistency and adherence to Boeing and program standards.
  • Oversee configuration control of software work products.
  • Generate Software CM records as evidence of adherence to Software CM plans and Boeing standards.
  • Verify accuracy of software deliveries, both internal and external.
  • Support Change Boards.
  • Respond to internal audits and customer queries.
  • Review contracts and modifications to establish Contract Data Requests List (CDRL) and Supplier Data Requirements List (SDRL).
  • Make submittal schedules to meet contract.
  • Input submittal schedules and meta data into a data tracking system to allow for notifications to responsible parties of submittal schedules.
  • Review submittals for compliance to contract.
  • Work with Procurement and Subcontractors to ensure timely data submittals.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Active Secret U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required).  (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
  • Years of related experience: 1+ for level 2, 3+ for level 3.
  • Configuration Management experience.
  • If not already within commuting distance of Seal Beach, CA, willingness and ability to relocate at own expense.

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • NDIA certification.
  • Experienced in Automated Builds and DevSecOps.

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).

Mid-Level (level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor+1 years' related work experience, 5 years' related work experience, etc.).

Contract Program Award. This position is contingent upon The Boeing Company receiving program award for the ESS – MPA Phase 3 program.

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Associate (level 2): $77,350 – $104,650

Mid-Level (level 3): $96,050 – $129,950
