Location: San Antonio, TX (Onsite; 9pm - 5 am)

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Night Shift Associate Manager will be responsible for managing a team of SOC Analysts who assess, analyze, and respond to global security incidents.  This role will oversee the execution of standard operating procedures and quality assurance.  When necessary, the Night Shift Manager will need to demonstrate the ability to monitor cameras and alarms, dispatch associated calls via telephone, operate access control technology, and provide general assistance to SOC Analysts. The Night Shift Associate Manager will be required to partner with crisis management stakeholders and facilitate necessary escalations.  Specifically, incidents may range from extreme weather conditions, political instability, crime, terror, civil unrest, and other personnel issues.  In addition, they will be accountable for customer service tasks that provide critical information and assistance to travelers, static employees, and potential third parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manages a team of SOC Analysts on the night shift that supports a 24/7/365 operation

  • Oversees the daily operations of the SOC. This includes, but is not limited to the following:

    • Leadership Briefings

    • Career Development

    • Performance Achievement

    • Time and Attendance

    • Shift Scheduling

    • Training

  • Conducts training and tabletop exercises as necessary for SOC analysts to improve on SOC protocols, operator proficiency and readiness

  • Demonstrates expertise developing guidance procedures, review processes and workflows to create efficiencies

  • Works collaboratively with the SOC and security team members to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all incidents and crisis events that may impact Accenture

  • Communicates and disseminate information, using established communication processes

  • Ensures senior security management is apprised of all significant local and global events in real-time, and documentation is maintained

  • Liaises, notifies, assists, and directs external emergency personnel and internal resources as necessary

  • Interfaces with security officers, managers, guard force, facilities management, and other operations support functions

  • The Night Shift Manager will fulfill the role of a SOC Operator as needed, which includes but is not limited to answering routine and emergency calls, monitoring alarms and video equipment including fire alarms, door alarms, and duress alarms

  • Performs other tasks and duties of a similar nature and scope as assigned

  • May be required to provide coverage for staffing gaps on other shifts as neede

Hours & Shift Requirements:

  • This role is designated as the Night Shift Associate Manager (9 pm - 5 am) and is responsible for leading and owning overnight operations. The position requires consistent availability during nights, weekends, and holidays to ensure continuity of coverage, operational stability, and real-time decision-making. The Night Shift Manager is expected to provide leadership presence during critical hours and extend coverage as needed to meet business and operational demands.
