Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Facilities to join our team in Canoga Park, CA. The Senior Associate Facilities plans, coordinate, and oversees the movement of office personnel, associated equipment, and special event set ups by utilizing and updating workplace management applications. They will coordinate efforts with the Maintenance organization, contractors, and others as needed. This position is a primary point of contact for office occupants, to support and provide guidance for Facilities & Plant Operations services.

Essential Functions:

  • Support tactical office planning and compliance with the Site Office Accommodations Standards.
  • Manage and maintain furniture standards and inventory at the appropriate levels.
  • Maintain and analyze Archibus data, CAD drawings, and update data as required.
  • Must have a demonstrated understanding of the Facility Management industry, processes, and technology including knowledge of space Allocation and Space Planning
  • Generate reports using various data sources and make updates to databases
  • Work in a combination of indoor and outdoor environments (hot, cold, wet, humid conditions) with a varied amount of walking, standing, sitting, climbing (i.e. ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps), as well as a standard office setting and use standard office equipment, including a computer.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 2 years of prior related experience. Graduate Degree or equivalent with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 6 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • High level of Safety and Customer focus.
  • Proficient in a CAFM system (preferably the ARCHIBUS Space Management Module), AutoCad, Microsoft Office Suite (especially MS Excel & Pivot tables)
  • Familiarity with SQL databases (SQL Server, Oracle).
  • Familiarity with architectural and furniture plan drawings, and modular furniture systems.
  • Strong skills in teamwork and the ability to communicate effectively with peers, management, internal customers, contractors and others in a dynamic changing environment.
  • Proficient with SharePoint
  • Proficient with Office Ergonomics

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in the State of California is $63,000 - $117,000. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location. L3Harris also offers a variety of benefits, including health and disability insurance, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, EAP, education assistance, parental leave, paid time off, and company-paid holidays. The specific programs and options available to an employee may vary depending on date of hire, schedule type, and the applicability of collective bargaining agreements.
