You will be the Software Engineer & Deployment Architect for the Military Operations Analysis team which is responsible for developing and deploying software solutions that support the modeling and simulation of Lockheed Martin's 21st Century warfighter products.



What You Will Be Doing


As the Software Engineer & Deployment Architect you will be responsible for delivering robust, scalable software and infrastructure that enables our warfighter modeling capabilities.



Your responsibilities will include:



  • Execute software development tasks within our CI/CD pipeline, delivering high‑quality code.

  • Monitor core infrastructure and investigate issues affecting service availability.

  • Plan and implement deployment of new infrastructure and services through scripting and automation.

  • Automate deployment, scaling, and administration of containerized applications.

  • Support key modeling infrastructure development leveraging strong C++ and Python expertise.

Further Information About This Opportunity


MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must possess an active Secret clearance to start.



This position is in Fort Worth, TX Discover Fort Worth.
Basic Qualifications:
• Experience using Gitlab for process automation through CI/CD

• Programming experience with at least one modern software languages such as Python, C++, Java and/or C# including object-oriented language
Desired Skills:
• 1+ year of process automation experience
• Experience with military simulation software development
• Active Top Secret clearance
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
