Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking an ProductionEquipment Maintenance Team Lead to support our Production Equipment Maintenance Team in Orangeburg, South Carolina on Variable shift.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead teams with Equipment Maintenance Knowledge and Solving

  • Drives Continuous Improvement Actions and develops technician progression

  • Attends BPS meetings and runs Tier 1 team meetings every day

  • Conducts monthly PM audits on equipment

  • Monitors and inspects community tool boxes

  • Monitors and corrects labor utilization tracking weekly trends

  • Ensures on time PM completion within the MBU

  • Repairs and maintains equipment and demonstrates experience in these areas.

  • Responds to trouble calls and resolves a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity.

  • Follows safety procedures and regulations.

  • Interprets basic schematics and diagrams.

  • Uses a variety of hand and power tools to construct, renovate and repair equipment.

  • Works with electrical systems and electronic components of complex industrial machinery and equipment, following manuals, schematic diagrams, blueprints, and other specifications.

  • Ensures operation of machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements on motors, pneumatic tools, and production machines; following diagrams, sketches, operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions, and engineering specifications; solving malfunctions.

  • May provide guidance to less experienced employees.

  • May receive specialized equipment training.

  • Provides training to peers and customers on the general use of equipment.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Orangeburg, South Carolina.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience in equipment maintenance

  • 3+ years of experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications (e.g., blueprint/schematic reading, specification, change, design)

  • 3+ years of experience working with Digital Volt Meters (DVM), Oscilloscopes, AC/DC Power supplies, Frequency Generators, and/or Power Meters

  • 3+ years of experience using all the following Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel and Outlook)

  • Must be willing and able to work any shift including days, evenings, overnights, and weekends

Preferred Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • Experience using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)

  • Experience with automation systems maintenance, robotics systems, and various types of equipment controllers, such as Siemens 840D, Fanuc, and Allen Bradley

  • Experience solving and operating PLCs (preferably Siemens and Allen Bradley)

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Summary pay range (Level C): $61,200 - 68,000​
