This position supports the global brand management team with branding requests, strategic brand positioning, and financial activities.

Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in a related field required or equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Entry level. Experience in marketing budget management, accounting, finance or financial analysis preferred..

Position Purpose:

The Marketing Resource Specialist I is responsible for supporting the budget management needs of the department. This role is essential in ensuring timely and accurate documentation of financial transactions. This position will partner with internal teams as well as business support teams as needed.

Job Description

Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

1. Support the department with the creation of purchase requisitions .
2. Collect documentation and approvals and ensure retention for compliance tracking purposes .
3. Track department spending and payments to ensure budget accuracy and support the teams management of vendors .
4. Operate with a continuous improvement mindset .
5. Seek opportunities to improve efficiencies through optimization and cross-functional collaboration .

Perform other duties as assigned.

Other Requirements:

1. Familiarity with financial accounting best practices, reporting and analysis preferred.
2. Basic understanding of marketing, event, or merchandising principles.
3. Must be detail-oriented, comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously, and a skilled communicator.
4. Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook), and Adobe Acrobat required; knowledge of SAP and/or OnBase preferred.
5. Highly motivated team player with strong leadership skills; willing to share resourceful information.
6. Able to manage multiple projects with excellent organizational skills and monitoring of timelines.

This job requires one to be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language.
