The Boeing Company is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Experienced Labor Estimating and Pricing Specialist to support our Vertical Lift programs out of Ridley Park, PA or Mesa, AZ.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops complex estimates and prices from technical requirements through the design, build, and aftermarket support stages of the program

  • Evaluates requests for proposal, assembles priced proposals, and substantiates estimates/pricing

  • Understands and utilizes valid estimating and pricing methods and validation techniques

  • Evaluates and develops business cases

  • Resolves database requirements and identifies appropriate data sources

  • Performs analyses and provides recommendations in support of pricing/estimating (risk, financial, competitive, etc.)

  • Develops and maintains pricing models

  • Incorporates data into and maintains structured systems and coordinates program database requirements

  • Develops/applies/maintains rates and factors for estimating, pricing and proposals

  • Leads compliance activities, policy and procedure development, deployment of new systems/tools, training development/delivery and internal audits

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher

  • 3+ years of experience in a finance related position such as Estimating, Financial Operations, Cost Management, Accounting, Financial Planning, Contracts or Procurement Financial Analysis (PFA)

  • Experience in supporting audit, fact-finding and negotiations

  • Experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government customers

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience estimating strategic studies, work transfer proposals, affordability estimates

  • Experience with statistical data

  • Strong communication skills and experience with leadership presentations

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. 

Summary Pay Range: $100,300 - $135,700
