Boeing Defense, Space, and Security has an opportunity for an Associate or Mid-Level Production Operations Specialist to be part of our Advanced Vertical Lift team supporting the Apache AH-64 in Mesa, AZ.Position Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements manufacturing processes.

  • Provides concurrent engineering support.

  • Defines production activities and resolves problems of limited scope.

  • Reviews and approves technical documents.

  • Analyzes charging trends and develops projected manpower forecast.

  • Assists with the preparation and justification for major capital expenditures and equipment implementation.

  • Leads projects and participates in technical research on proposed projects.

  • • Serves as primary interface with internal customers.

  • Translates data into actionable plan for implementation within the organization.

  • Compiles and provides management status reports for corrective/preventative action.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.This position is for a variable shift. The selected candidate may be asked to work first or second to support the operations need.This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • Must be willing to work any shift

  • 3 or more years of experience working in or supporting a manufacturing environment

  • 3 or more years of experience in aircraft manufacturing working with assembly processes and procedures

  • 3 or more years of experience reading and interpreting drawings or blueprints

  • Experience working with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • Experience developing root cause corrective actions

Typical Education / Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 3 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+1 year’s related work experience, 7 years' related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only.  Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary Pay Range:

Level 2: $74,800 - $101,200

Level 3: $9-,950 -$123,050
