As the Supplier Account Manager, you will manage the end-to-end buying process for an assigned portfolio of goods, applying sourcing policies while serving as the primary interface between suppliers and internal stakeholders on specifications, budgets, and delivery needs. You will leverage best practices and a strong understanding of how your work integrates with cross-functional teams, while staying informed on market dynamics, competitors, and key differentiators.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Manage and strengthen relationships with suppliers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
  • Monitor supplier performance, identify gaps, and drive improvement actions.
  • Apply discipline expertise and analytical thinking to execute sourcing/procurement policies and strategies.
  • Lead low-risk, low-resource procurement projects from planning through execution.
  • Collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders to understand requirements and align on scope, timing, and deliverables.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, standards, and internal procedures.
  • Identify and mitigate procurement risks; develop options and recommend solutions for day-to-day issues.
  • Prioritize and analyze data to support decisions, using multiple internal and limited external sources.
  • Identify, screen, and evaluate potential suppliers based on capability, capacity, quality, and risk.
  • Negotiate contracts and support contract development to secure favorable terms and conditions.
  • Maintain effective communication with internal and external stakeholders, including handling sensitive issues when needed.
  • Provide regular updates on procurement activities, supplier performance, and project status.
  • Participate in cross-functional meetings and initiatives to support business objectives.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Must be able to come to the Evendale, OH location per request
  • May travel, up to 30%, if needed.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with at least 7 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/ Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain or Contract Management roles).
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in Commercial Operations, Sourcing/ Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management, Sales, Supply Chain, or Contract Management roles
