Job Description
The V-BAT Training Senior Manager is responsible for leading all aspects of V-BAT training and standardization while operating as an operations officer for flight activities. This role oversees the internal training team and manages training as a program to ensure alignment across operations, engineering, and product while delivering consistent, scalable, and measurable training outcomes.
Required qualifications:
- Experience leading aviation training programs
- Background in military aviation, UAS operations, or equivalent
- Experience managing complex programs with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables
- Strong understanding of training systems, standardization, and evaluation processes
- Experience in operational planning, scheduling, or operations officer roles
- Ability to translate technical system changes into training requirements
- Strong organizational, communication, and execution skills
Preferred qualifications:
- Instructor Pilot (IP), Evaluator (EP), or equivalent designation
- Experience with Group 3–5 UAS or comparable systems
- Background in test and evaluation or operational units
- Familiarity with FAA Part 107 or military aviation frameworks
- Experience building or scaling training programs in a high-growth or product-driven environment
- Experience working closely with engineering teams on product or system development cycles
