Description:The Classified High Performance Computing Center (HPCC) Team is seeking an experienced and motivated Classified Network Engineer. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise of network and server administration and a strong record of delivering reliable and secure network solutions in classified environments. We are looking for an innovative, self starter who thrives in a fast paced environment and is eager to tackle complex challenges that push the limits of technology.
Basic Qualifications:
• Ability to Obtain and Maintain a Secret Level Security Clearance
• Proven experience in network engineering within classified or DoD environments.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC)
• Hands-on experience with network security tools, firewalls, encryption devices, and secure system hardening.
• Strong understanding of IP networking (BGP, OSPF, EVPN‑VXLAN), routing, switching, and fabric technologies
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
• Knowledge of working virtualization technologies, VMWare, Kubernetes
• Current Security+, CCNA
Desired Skills:
• Experience with Ansible, Terraform, or other configuration management/IaC tools.
• Experience with scripting languages Bash, Power Shell, Python
• Experience with GIT preferably GITLAB
• Hands on Experience with GITLAB CI and automated testing in GITLAB
• Knowledge of Zero Trust architecture, microsegmentation, or software-defined networking (SDN).
• Familiarity with containerized environments (e.g., Docker, Podman, Kubernetes) in secure networks.
• Understanding of DoD RMF, NIST 800-53, and compliance frameworks for classified systems.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
