Responsibilities
  • What You’ll Do:
  • Prepares various logistics support documentation and source data in support of the configuration management for the C-130 aircraft program.
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Create Configuration Control Board (CCB) Change Request/Directive packages for Engineering Change Proposals in ECM.
  • Edit Technical Directives as required for proper format to comply with NA 00-25-300 SOP and route for PMA and FST for approval in ECM.
  • Route Letters of Temporary Exemption in ECM for approval for new delivering KC-130J aircraft.
  • Route Rapid Action Message Engineering Changes for PMA and FST approval in ECM.
  • Resolve discrepancies for CCB Packages, RAMECS, Technical Directives identified by NAVAIR Sustainment Group.
  • Attend weekly meetings with FST and PMA to review Engineering Change Proposals for C-130.
  • Attend weekly PMA Production Team meetings and send Daily Messages to the PMA/FST/Air Force reporting C-130 status.
  • Attend All IPT C-130 meetings or as directed by the PMA207 Configuration Manager.
  • Assist PMA207 LVL 2 & 3s in development of CCB Briefs.
  • Prepare and route Decision Records following Configuration Control Board Meetings as directed.
  • Prepare and route Implementation Notifications CCB approval of Change Request/Directive Packages.
  • Support VR/OSA (Commercial Derivative Aircraft) platforms as directed by the Configuration Manager.
  • During the work schedule, identify and record deficient areas of the PMA-207 Configuration Management Plan (CMP) to be included in future updates.
  • Be familiar with 4130-1A SOP & Instruction and NA 00-25-300 SOP & Manual and with Industry standards in CM: EIA-649C, EIA-649-1A and MIL-HDBK-61B.

Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications
    • Education:
      • BS or BA Degree required.
      • Allowable Substitution: An additional five (5) years of experience in acquisition logistics support and operational logistics support beyond the 5 years' experience required for this position may be substituted for a BS or BA degree.
    • Experience:
      • Five (5) years in logistics management in performing comprehensive analysis across the spectrum of ILS elements during a job assignment in or in support of an acquisition command.
      • Five (5) DoD logistics support experience, including specific experience in acquisition planning and management, including logistics planning, scheduling, execution, and support system effectiveness analysis, studies, and evaluations supporting DoD weapons systems and equipment.
    • Other Requirements:
      • This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret security clearance
      • Active clearance is highly desired.

      • The following salary range is intended to display the value of the company’s base pay compensation and may be modified at the discretion of the company.
        • USD $95,000 to $105,000
      • Provided salary range minimum and maximum values correspond to variances between regional/geographic locations across the United States.
