Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), Space and Launch Organization is seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Solution Architect to join our Networks and Computing IT team supporting classified ground systems in Aurora, CO or Colorado Springs, CO. This role will focus on designing, implementing, and managing secure, scalable infrastructure and software delivery pipelines within mission-critical and classified environments.

The ideal candidate will have deep experience in DevSecOps practices, continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, cloud and hybrid infrastructure integration, and security compliance frameworks. This position requires a proactive engineer who can collaborate across teams to enable secure, automated, and efficient software delivery and system operations.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, deployment, and management of secure, automated CI/CD pipelines to accelerate software delivery while ensuring compliance with security policies and standards

  • Develop and maintain infrastructure automation and orchestration to support scalable, resilient cloud and on-premises environments

  • Integrate security controls and compliance requirements into the software development lifecycle, applying DevSecOps best practices

  • Collaborate with cybersecurity and engineering teams to implement continuous monitoring, vulnerability management, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Support system lifecycle management including provisioning, patching, configuration, and access control in classified environments

  • Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentorship to foster DevSecOps culture and skills development within the team

  • Participate in cross-functional engineering workshops and program reviews to align technical solutions with mission objectives

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and pipeline issues to maintain operational readiness and mission assurance

  • Maintain documentation and support accreditation efforts to meet regulatory and program requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement

  • Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with SAP eligibility

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in systems engineering, DevSecOps, or related roles supporting secure environment

  • Proven experience designing and managing CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation

  • Strong understanding of cloud and hybrid infrastructure integration

  • Familiarity with security frameworks and compliance requirements relevant to DoD and classified programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting classified or Special Access Programs (SAP)

  • Knowledge of security automation, vulnerability scanning, and continuous monitoring tools

  • Experience mentoring and leading technical teams in DevSecOps practice

  • Security certifications such as CISSP, Security+, or equivalent IAT Level 2 certifications

  • Familiarity with container orchestration and microservices architectures

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Summary pay range: $184,450 - $249,550
